Baker trip..... Black mountain Hike and Calf visit

Rain, Rain, and MORE rain...

We were headed out to Baker for the weekend.  I was going through the Rubies and man was it pretty.  There were low hanging clouds hovering super low over the mountains.  My camera never does it justice.  It was neat to stop and snap some pictures here and there.

As soon as we see the wind mills, he kids get super excited knowing Grandma's house is close.

When we arrived to Grandma's house, we hung out a little bit until Jenny and her crew got there.  We then headed on over to Black Mountain to take a quick hike. We had planned to go somewhere else, but the rain prevented us from doing that. Stinking Rain.... I was so sick of rain. lol

Alex was pretty much trying to prove he was independent.  He has no fear.
Freaks me out sometimes.

We passed some pretty neat looking rocks.  Saw some skeletons here and there on the ground.

Once we got up there, we took some pictures of the kids.

I have memories that go wayyyyy back of this mountain.  I cant even count how many times we came here as kids.  It was the best place to go and play.

Alex was not happy with me because I wouldn't let him go freely about the mountain.

LOOK!! There's our cars.

When walking back to the car, Alex chose his own way of coming back. lol.

There were bones along the way.

Addison just loves this kid. ha ha She really likes willow.

Alex was digging in the dirt.

We then headed on over to the dairy to see the calves.  The kids don't get to see calves very often.  I think this was Alex's first time.

This was such a pretty calve.

Newborn Calves

When we got back home, we went and talked with Grandpa for a minute.  We were waiting for Audrey to get there as well.  Lobo, man that dog is such a Horse!!

I had told Grandpa we were going to go in and see Grandma the next day and told him he could come with us.  He as kinda sad his ride in to delta didn't show up.  He was pretty excited to hear we were going in.

AUNT AUDREY!!!

All the kids go running to Crazy Aunt Audrey. lol

Ally was pretty happy to see Mom!!

At dinner time, the kids all ate outside. Except Alex. I knew he wouldn't eat his food if he wasn't inside.  Audrey kept him company. ha ha

I think we went to bed kinda early that night.  I was pretty excited to go see Grandma.
