Going Home....

We spent the last night there packing up some and talking the night away.
Reminiscing old memories.  Good times and great laughs.
We had all planned on leaving early in the morning.

We all got up early and drank some coffee out on the deck and
talked awhile.  Then it was the dreaded moment we had to leave.
We said our good byes and headed on down the road.

We got to Barstow and decided to stop at I hop.  I have always
wanted to bring Hayden here. She loves pancakes as much as me.
Aaron was kind enough to take us there, seeing how he doesn't like it.

Oh boy, we were we anxious to eat.

I knew Hayden would love it. She ate more then I did. ha ha
Back on the road, the trip seemed to take forever. Why does the trip home
always feel like the longest? It sure did and when we got home we had all that
unpacking to do, laundry and cleaning up to do.  We didn't get to bed till super late.
But that was okay. It make the following day a day to recuperate. And Recuperate we did.

We had a Great Weekend.  I am so Thankful that I have the Man I do, to give
me such a trip to go see my friends again. And that included the Beach. I can't wait to do
it again some day.

Day at the Ocean Front Beach

This is what I was super excited for.  I hadn't been to California beach
for about 10 years.  I was super happy to see it again.  I did not get
many pictures. I was in the water most the time. I didn't waist a second.
Neither did the kids. Alex was glued to the sand and water.

I took a bunch of photos of Audrey, because she reminded me of a movie star. ha ha

You can tell we were not from California from the looks of our white skin.
Everyone there, was so tan.

Aaron and I went way far out and rode the waves.  I forgot how fun that was.

Soaking in the sun.

This is where he was glued for a while.

We had walked down the beach to a local restaurant to get burgers but there was way to many people.  So we went home and ordered some over the phone and Audrey and Beth went back and picked it up. It was a lot faster.  Bethany bought us all a late lunch and boy was it good!
