We were on our way to San Diego.
So excited!
We stopped at the gas station in Bettie to get gas.
Its also something we do whenever we go through there,
to let the kids get something. This is a store that has loads of
the old candy and stuffed animals. Its so cool to see the candy
we had as kids that stores don't carry anymore.
Here we are getting out of the car.
Addie was having troubles finding her shoes and thought we were leaving her behind.
Here it is! The old candy store.
We let the kids pick out a stuffed animal and a drink.
They were so excited.
I took photos as we traveled through Death Valley. I was also watching the temperature
gauge go up and down. It was crazy hot going through here.
Don't mind the bugs on the windshield.
It was way to hot to open the windows to take pictures.
I watched a few dust devils out in the boonies.
I looked behind me to see this. ha ha
We were about an hour and a half to our destination. It was soooooo busy!
Road construction was causing major back up.
I really could not imagine commuting around here daily. I would be miserable.
We finally arrived at the house.
What an amazing House!
It didn't take long for the kids to make themselves at home.
Once we got the car unloaded, we ordered a pizza and jumped in the pool.
Bethany and Audrey were not to arrive until 9-9:30 that night.
We were having a good ole time.
The owners left us a gift on the table. A toy plane and bubbles.
Our pizza arrived an hour later and man that thing was huge!
We were out in the pool when the Girl's finally arrived.
We talked awhile and Beth and I opened our gifts.
It did not take long for everyone to start getting ready for bed.
We were all excited to get up early and go to the Zoo.
