Green Day Landscaping

Boy oh Boy has it been ups and downs with landscaping.
Only because of all the rain, and the heat and the days where we wonder
when they are going to show up.

Here is some of the work they have done this far.
They have done great work and we are so happy
to see things coming along.

Water system being installed.

The retaining wall.  The guys who did this were so good.
They had to endure the heat with shirts over their heads.
I felt bad for them. but man, did they do such a great job on that wall.

Another crew came and put the cement lining in.
The front looked amazing.

Tree ring.

I went around the back to get pictures after they left.

That was when I noticed something odd with what they did.
That cement liner was to go to the brick wall, not follow it around.

We were not to pleased with the change of plans.

Hayden decided to come flying out the door and take a giant leap
and land on one area of the cement.  I kinda freaked out on her, only
because the guy who did the job had just gave me the talk about
keeping kids and pets away from it.  She did this 5 minutes after he left.
I was not happy.

Later that evening, Matt, the project manager came and talked to us.
We showed him the errorswe found, all over the place. He was not happy.
He said he would have them out first thing in the morning and correct it.
They were also going to have to redo some sprinkler heads.

7:00 am came and they had it fixed in 15 minutes.

Thank goodness.... now we will have more grass then flower beds.

Matt also got them to fix the damaged one.
He told me that they were use to having to redo them.

All new.

They came and fixed the sprinkler heads and
got the ground prepared for the sod.

I was super excited to see them come back
the next day with the sod.

The front yard already looked so much better.

Back yard.

I will have more updates once the clean up is done and the rock is all layed out.
